Hurricane Awareness Week begins throughout Mississippi (Daily Times Leader)

After parts of the Mississippi and Alabama Gulf Coast were ravaged by Hurricane Ivan in September 2005, the Mississippi Emergency Management Association (MEMA) has dedicated the week of May 30 through June 3 as Hurricane Awareness Week in Mississippi.
